Board Members

The directors of the foundation all have erudition of their respective fields, bringing their vast experience and foresight to propel the foundation forward. It is due to their diligence and acumen that the foundation has grown and reached the level that it is at today. The Board of Directors include:

Mr. Parvez Hussain Sufi

Chairman – M. H. Sufi Foundation

Mr. Parvez Hussain Sufi is the founding member of the M.H. Sufi Foundation and has provided the vision and leadership to bring over the past 25 years the Foundation to its present status. The Foundation has been successful in changing the educational landscape and culture in Hafizabad District.

Mr. Parvez Hussain Sufi has been the Managing Director of Pharmagen Limited since 1992. Mr. Sufi is a fellow Member of the institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. Previously, Mr. Sufi was a Practicing Chartered Accountant having been associated with reputable firms. Thereafter he joined Pharmagen Limited as the Managing Director and till date he holds the same position. Most recently, he received global recognition from world prestigious organizations.
Qualification: FCA England and Wales.
Current professional engagement: Managing Director Pharmagen Group of Companies.

Mr. Azmat Ullah has been engaged with the Foundation since its inception in 1994. Being a professional accountant, he has been involved in managing the accounting and financial matters of the organization. He has also been involved in formulating the various policies and procedure to run the Foundation.
Having rural background and belonging to the village from where the Foundation took start and established its first project, he has been involved in promoting the object of the Foundation by interacting with the rural community to encourage them to enroll their children in the Foundation schools.

Mr. Usman Hussain Sufi has been engaged with the Foundation for last 10 years in promoting quality education in the rural areas. He has been actively involved in establishing the policies & procedures and SOPs relating to academic and administrative matters. He has been interacting with the rural community to create awareness and encourage the students to enroll at the Foundation schools for quality education at subsidized fee.

Director – Moringa Pharmaceuticals (pvt) Ltd

Mr. Asad Hussain Sufi has been engaged with the Foundation for last 10 years in promoting quality education in the rural areas. He has been involved in formulating the policies & procedures to run the institution. Being an I.T. professional, he advises on mater relating to I.T. system of the Foundation He has been interacting with the rural community to create awareness and encourage the students to enroll at the Foundation schools for quality education at subsidized fee.

Dr. Sarfraz Ahmed

Director – M. H. Sufi Foundation

Dr. Sarfraz Ahmed is an educationist and has vast experience in the field of education. He has served as professor of the Agriculture University of Rawalpindi for MS., M.Phil. & Ph.D. classes. He has been instrumental in setting up various departments and establishing the academic policies and procedures for M. H. Sufi Foundation.

Research supervisor of M.Phil. & PhD. Dissertation
Principal Investigator of different field research projects.

GMr. Mustaq Ahmed graduated in the field of Electronics Engineering, and joined Pakistan Television Corporation Ltd (PTVC) as associate engineer right since the creation of the organization in 1967.
Having professional and specialized experience in the job, Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed has taken part of numerous projects that aim to further the available signals for T.V coverage to reach all walks of society.
He ultimately retired as Director of Engineering in 2007. Presently, Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed works as a freelance consultant in the field of broadcast engineering and he also maintains the position of being a part time technical advisor with some of the System Equipment suppliers.

Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed

Yasmeen Sufi

Director – M. H. Sufi Foundation

The main object of M.H. Sufi Foundation being to provide quality education in rural areas of Pakistan, Mrs. Yasmeen Sufi has been engaged with the Foundation since its inception in 1994 in promoting the above cause. In particular she has been interacting with the rural community in Hafizabad District (where Foundation is running 18 Schools with over 6000 students) to provide awareness and encourage students particularly girls to enrolls at the Foundation schools.
She has also been engaged with friend and family members in raising financial contribution for the Foundation. She has offered sound advice and direction on matters relating to the running of the Foundation which has been acted upon by the various stakeholders.

Mrs. Nusrat Ahmed has been previously worked as a school teacher in Islamabad. She has used her teaching skills and experience in advising M.H. Sufi Foundation in various academic matters relating to the running of 18 schools by the Foundation in Hafizabad District. Herself belong to rural areas, she is deeply committed to the object of the Foundation to promote quality education in Pakistan’s rural area particularly benefiting girls. Once on the board she plans to
actively engage with the rural community to benefit from the Foundation’s schools.
